The Tamilnadu Press & Media Reporters Union (TNPMRU) joyfully celebrated the 78th Independence Day yesterday at Moosa Street, T. Nagar, Chennai. The event was led by TNPMRU State President M. Divan Mydeen, along with State General Secretary AM. Mahesh Krishnan, State Coordinator M. Anbu Prakash, State Advisor Murugadas, and Muhammad Meeran Leppai. Also in attendance were State Organizing Secretary Rajagopalan, South Chennai District Secretary Nirmal Kumar, South Chennai District President Ayyappan, and Tiruvallur District IT Wing President Vinodkumar, along with photographer Prabhu and Parangimalai Anand. The celebration was made special by the participation of students, who added vibrancy to the occasion.
The event was organized by South Chennai District Secretary Nirmal Kumar, Ayyappan, and other union leaders. The festivities began with State President M. Divan Mydeen hoisting the national flag and paying his respects. He also distributed sweets to the children, symbolizing the joy and pride of Independence Day.
